I am shopping for a new stroller, and am basing a lot of my decision on Amazon customer reviews, so I thought I should return the favor for this stroller that I purchased in 2007.
The reason I am buying a new stroller is because my daughter is 4 years old and 10 lbs. past the weight the limit for this one. We have used this stroller to death. I love how it has been our go-to stroller for 4 years - it has really grown with her.
The carseat was very similar to the snugride, just a little less expensive. Just like the Graco, you can buy multiple bases and snap the seat in and out, which couldn't have been simpler. The one negative I can think of is that when she was a newborn, the headrest/cradle that came with it was too large, so I bought a smaller one for newborns that she used for the first 3 months.
The carseat snaps VERY securely and easily on the stroller. My favorite part of this stroller is how easy it is to fold up. You can seriously do it with two fingers. Also, the storage bin is incredibly generous. It rides smooth as silk, and the snack tray that swivels out will come in really convenient after the first year or so.
They've thought of all the extras on this, it was well-built and it lasted us well past I had intended. Affordable, without giving up anything!
I love, love, love this travel system. After much research and browsing around stores we decided to try amazon since we shop on here often. We came across this travel system and we decided to get it. After receiving it today it didn't take long for us to put it together. I also love the fabric of this particular model because it will be easy to clean and it also can be removed to clean completely. The car seat is not at all that heavy and the stroller isn't either. Both pieces however, are really sturdy. I also love the colors because it could go for a boy or a girl. The stroller when folded doesn't take up much room either and fits nicely in the trunk of my car. The folding release handle is also easy to operate and it folds up quickly. The large basket under the stroller is perfect for large or small items. I can't wait till the baby is here to actually use it but so far I'm in love with it all. The price for this system is just a bonus.
