Customer Reviews
I wanted to like this product. It is attractive, not chincy, and wheels around comfotably. Unfortunatly, I hate it and cannot stress the awfulness of this product. The issue is that in order for the car seat to snap in to the stroller a number of other pieces have to be in the correct place. The back of the stroller seat has to be in 1 of the four positions in order for the car seat to snap. When you fold the stroller up and put it in the trunk, the seat position often moves. SO let me give you the scenario I face when I try and use the product. I have a newborn, born in late December, in New England. When I try to place the car seat in the stroller, it doesn't snap. The back of the seat is in the wrong position. So, I put the baby either back in the car or on the ground and try another seat position, then I pick up the baby again and put him back in the stroller hoping I got the right seat position. Oops, wrong again, put the baby back on the ground, or in the car, and go through the whole series until I find the right position. Meanwhile, it is freezing outside and the baby that was sleeping is now screaming because I am going back and forth trying to get the seat to snap in. This could take 5 or ten minutes, depending on how cold my hands are.
Furthermore, fast forward when the weather is better, my parents who want nothing more than to walk their first grandson around their complex can't because they cannot for the life of them figure out how to get it to snap in and get tired of trying to lift the carseat 4 or more times to get it locked.
Lastly, I contacted Chicco to talk with them about my bad expereinces, maybe there is something I should know that I don't or perhaps there is some defect I am not aware of? They never returned my email.
One more thing, it took my husband and I 45 minutes to figure out how to open and close the stroller to begin with. In trying to make this product one snap and user friendly, it is extremely complex. Even now that I broke the code, I don't think it is so handy.
Don't be fooled by the elegant look or the good safety ratings. This product is a users nightmare.
